Canada drops to 5% GST Can't Post
As of Jan 1 2008 Canada has reduced the government sales tax by another percent fulfilling another promise by the current minority Conservative government. 5% GST will help mostly homeowners and car buyers with their purchases, but it will also save hundreds for everyone else as they spend on goods and services.
