Riots break out in most nations. The poor get poorer, they eat less, the rich pay slight more. There is a food crisis in our world today and despite the fact Americans pay more for food they still waste the most. Head over to Vegas or any restaurant and you'll see the vast quantities first world nations waste.... which begs the question, what will it take to slow the spike in world grain prices? Some blame ethanol production, others bad weather, still others protectionism measures emplyed by countries trying to keep domestic food prices lower (India). What are your thoughts on the recent developing food woes? Is there a solution? Is this equity of world resources? If so then why are poor folks paying even more?
