Hello everybody, how are you doing, could you please tell me if this is correct
Which of the following is NOT an effect of imposing a protective tariff on a good?  A. Imports of the good decrease B. Income is transferred from domestic consumers to the government C. Domestic production of the good increases D. Resources are shifted from inefficient to efficient producers E. Domestic consumption of the good decreases
I think the correct answer is D, is that right? I know for example that for some reason the option B is true,
but don't know the reason, I would also appreciate if you tell me why as result of imposing a protective tarrif on a good Income is transferred from domestic consumers to the government
