South Koreans Strike cause of high energy prices, who cares? Can't Post

Some 17,000 South Korean construction workers have joined truck drivers in a strike calling for cheaper fuel. Drivers also want more pay for hauling freight, and the expanded action comes as the strike by 13,000 truckers has disrupted operations at sea ports.

I ask the question, who cares ? If everyone who drove a truck striked what would that do? Lower prices? No, high demand means prices will go up regardless of whether you strike or not. At the end of the day supply of world reserves is unable to meet demand. Or maybe it can but someone is artificially driving the price up. Fact is, places like AMERICA need to learn to drop their dependency on oil, a strike isn't going to hlep.

Just my take.
