Discussing the Canadian Dollar over at About.com

I'm chiming in on a bit of a debate with Mike Moffat over at About.com about the cause for the continued appreciation of the Canadian dollar. He cites that the consistent appreciation is largely dependent on the increase price of oil. I would suggest that it is a correlation but oil is not a big enough component of GDP to be THAT big of an influence on the dollar.

Check out the discussion here.
Maybe I'll do some tests of my own :P
